Embodied Relational Work

Nothing happens in a vacuum.
Everything is relationship.
This is at the core of how I see the world and how I work. Our relationship with others, our relationship with ourselves, with work and money, with safety, and with the beliefs we carry about who we are and what is possible for us. All is interconnected.Maybe you find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, struggling to set boundaries, putting others’ needs before your own, or holding back even when you know what you want. Perhaps you notice that closeness, uncertainty, or not feeling good enough can pull you into familiar ways of responding. In our work together, we slow down and explore what happens beneath these patterns. Through body awareness, curiosity and attention to your lived experience, we begin to make room for something different — more choice in how you respond, without losing connection with yourself.

The Approach

My work brings together body awareness and relational exploration. I’m interested in how we relate to ourselves and others, how our experiences shape the patterns we live by, and how these patterns show up in the way we connect, communicate, set boundaries, and navigate intimacy. So much of how we relate happens automatically. We tense up, pull away, adapt to others, seek reassurance, or find ourselves repeating the same reactions, even when we know we want to do things differently. Our bodies often respond before we have time to understand what is happening. In our work, we slow down and get curious about these responses. Through body awareness, movement, and relational exploration, we pay attention to what happens in different situations. What happens when we move towards connection, when we need space, when something feels uncomfortable, or when we want to express a need but find ourselves holding back? For me, this is where change becomes practical. Not just understanding our patterns, but experiencing new possibilities. Noticing a reaction without immediately acting on it. Staying connected to ourselves while being close to someone else. Recognising our boundaries and finding the space to respond differently when an old pattern takes over. The aim is not to get rid of our protective responses, but to understand them and create more choice in how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the situations we encounter in everyday life.

How I Came to This Work?

My journey into embodied relational work started with curiosity about my own body. Why does it tense up? How does it respond to certain situations? And how does it try to protect me, sometimes before I even realise what is happening? That curiosity led me to explore somatic work, yoga, movement, meditation, and how our experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves and others.Over time, I became less interested in finding the right explanation and more interested in noticing what actually happens in the moment. What happens in my body when I feel uncertain, when I move towards connection, or when something feels too much? What do I do automatically, and what happens when I slow down enough to notice? This is also what I bring into my work with others. Through body awareness, movement, and relational exploration, we notice familiar patterns, get curious about how they shape our responses, and explore different ways of responding. Not by forcing change, but by creating space to experience new possibilities, step by step, in ways that can carry into everyday life.

What Informs My Work?

My work is shaped by training in somatic and attachment-based approaches, body-oriented coaching, mindfulness, and embodied practices.Over the years, I've explored different ways of understanding how our experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. I continue to deepen my understanding of how patterns show up in the body and in everyday relationships, and how we can develop more choice in how we respond.
